Unmanned Hours
What you need to know:

Staying safe in the gym

It is important that our members are safe whilst training in the gym. Here is some important and handy information:

Our gym is equipped with 24/7 CCTV and emergency help lanyards, ensuring assistance is always available when needed. We also have an automated external defibrillator (AED) and a first aid kit located on the wall next to reception for emergency support. (An AED is a portable device that automatically diagnoses and treats life-threatening heart conditions.)

We offer accessible facilities and provide inductions to help you get acquainted with the gym, allowing you to use it safely and with confidence. Below are some key features, and be sure to review our first aid and emergency procedures document HERE.

To ensure your safety, we have CCTV cameras throughout the gym and our 24/7 CCTV team can monitor the club and contract the emergency services if needed, so you can have peace of mind working out around the clock. Suspected Entry abuse is automatically monitored by CCTV

For your safety, around the clock, each member is required to use their own facial recognition to access the gym through our floor-to-ceiling turnstiles with every visit. This ensures we can monitor who is in the gym at all times. Your ID is personal and should only be used by you—please do not share it to grant access to others. We also have an anti-passback system in place, which prevents you from scanning anyone else in using your ID, ensuring the safety of all our members.

Our emergency help lanyard fobs are available next to reception. Feel free to carry one with you around the club during unmanned hours. In case of an emergency, simply press and hold the red button. A member of our CCTV team will be able to access the cameras, assess the situation, and contact emergency services if necessary. It's reassuring to know that help is always available when you need it.

The Automated External Defibrillator deliver full spoken instructions to guide someone through how to use them in an emergency providing life-saving support for our members. This is located on the wall next to reception.
